What is 'new' about COSPLAY FOR YOU?- NEW START - new judging rubrics, new scoring, new rules, new judges!
- Juried entries - entries will be selected based on submissions, not first come/first served
- NEW Divisions- including those who may have studied and or worked in a costume adjacent industry
- Trios, Pairs, and Solos
- NEW PRIZE CATEGORIES
SCORING: Introducing the F Principles
• 10% Fidelity – accuracy to the original IP design.
• 25% Form – the fit and proportion of the costume elements (not a body judgement).
• 25% Function – construction and design choices: function and flexibility of costume elements.
• 20% Finish – the finish of the garment - seam treatments, lining, distressing etc.
• 15% Fluidity – Stage presence and impact (how does everything look on stage?)
• 5% F factor – that almost impossible to define ‘it’ factor (we say F for FXXK

ENTRY FORM AND NOTEBOOK SUBMISSION
This form is for entry to the Cosplay For You Cosplay competition that will take place at Auckland Armageddon, April 25th-27th 2026.
Entries will open Monday January 26th and close at 10pm NZ time on March 29th 2026.
This form includes Notebook submission (via link to Google Drive or Dropbox).Entry is open to New Zealand cosplayers only.
Entry will be juried based on this form and on the submitted Notebook. Entry form submission does not guarantee participation.
